Can you believe a total of 1,362,908 Mercedes-Benz vehicles were sold in 2011?* Mercedes-Benz of Fairfield can! This number was just over 77k more units than the former auto manufacturer's record, which was set in 2007. 2011 was a great year for the company, in the U.S. and otherwise. Mercedes-Benz Says 'Auf Wiedersehen' to Maybach

Mercedes-Benz will officially say "auf widersehen" to the iconic Maybach model in 2013, reports Autoweek.  The decision comes after a decade of disappointing sales for the luxury marque's 57 and 62 editions. The company has decided not to develop replacement models for the Maybach, which would have debuted in 2014. Mercedes-Benz Chairman Dieter Zetsche approved the decision, an insider from the company states.
