Every Mercedes-Benz vehicle has been meticulously engineered, but in order to keep it running right for as long as possible, it’s essential to bring it in for manufacturer-recommended service. Service A*

For Model Year 2009 and Older

Mercedes-Benz Service A is a recommended maintenance schedule, which generally occurs once per year and around every 10,000 miles. The recommended schedule for Service A may vary depending on the year and model of your Mercedes-Benz vehicle. Regardless, though, you’ll receive a prompt when it’s time to come in thanks to the Flexible Service System. Here are the items on the Service A schedule:

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil filter replacement
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
  • Tire inflaction check and correction
  • Brake component inspection
  • Reset maintenance counter
  • Adhere to all require elements listed by model and year specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.

Service B*

For Model Year 2009 and Older

Service B scheduled items are to be taken care of every two years or 20,000 miles, generally speaking. As with Service A, though, these numbers may vary somewhat, and you’ll receive a prompt from the Flexible Service System when it’s time to come in. At Service B intervals, Service A items will be performed, as well as:

  • Mercedes-Benz Synthetic Motor Oil Replacement
  • Oil Filter Replacement
  • Replace cabin filter
  • Brake fluid exchange
  • All fluid level checks and corrections are dependent on factory-recommended service intervals for your vehicle’s year and model.
  • Set tire pressures including spare reset tire pressure monitoring system (if applicable)
  • Brake component check
  • Reset maintenance counter
  • Adhere to all require elements listed by model and year specific model as indicated on the corresponding service sheet for Mercedes-Benz Maintenance Systems in the USA.
